The camera automatically pauses after 30 seconds of inactivity to save your battery. Simply tap the Continue Scanning button to continue scanning.

How do I scan an exam?
Use our unified scanner! A single interface can scan any exam type. Alignment markers and binary data (Student Roll Numbers and Assessment IDs) are automatically detected and captured. Answer sheets are available in Lite (up to 40 items) and Standard (up to 60 items) formats, printed in Folio (8.5 x 13 inches) layouts of 1, 2, 4, or 6 per page.
What is the AI Exam Generator?
Our AI-powered generator helps you create full MDAT (Multi-dimensional assessment tools) and Classic HOTS (Higher-Order Thinking Skills) exams in seconds. Simply select a subject, provide a topic, or upload your own reference materials, and the AI will draft high-quality questions for you. These exams are automatically saved to your library for instant printing and scanning.
How do scan limits work?
Free tier users receive a daily allotment of free scans. Once used, you can watch a rewarded ad to unlock a specified period of unlimited scanning (with an in-app timer). Subscribing to Premium removes all scan limits and camera scanner ads.
What are the Premium plans?
We offer a Premium Pass that provides 12 months of premium access. This plan is purchased via your app store and removes all scan limits and camera ads for an ad-free experience.
How do I export results?
Open an exam analysis and tap the Export button. You can export as Excel format. Note that an interstitial ad may be displayed after export for free-tier users.
How do I use the Web Console?
Access your records on any desktop via our Web Console at console.examscanify.com. For Premium users, cloud synchronization is automatic. Free users can perform a manual sync to the cloud.
How do I delete data or my account?
Deleting exams, classes, or students permanently deletes them locally. Once deleted, any synced records from the cloud will also be deleted. To remove all data and your profile entirely, use the 'Delete Account' button in the Danger Zone.
Privacy & Safety
We do not sell or rent your data. Both Free and Premium users benefit from secure cloud storage for automatic synchronization (for Premium users, this is automatic. For Free users, this is done manually via the Web Console). As an educator, please ensure you comply with your institution's data handling policies when exporting or syncing student results.
